FnS trudged into the Spark of Imagination for the eleventy-seventh time last Monday. Just a hop and a skip past Frogger2, the sequel. They faced a formidable foe with all of his gadgetry, and then proceeded to make a mockery of Mimiron. Four fantastic phases inflicting fire. ‘Dewd! I just got flamed, y no healz yo?’ You speak of Napalm, Rogue, I’ll heal that, but watch your feet, you keep stepping on mines. Healers got on their toes dousing the flames, but then the big purple beam splitting Dave’s melon in two, went somehow unseen for a good hour of attempts. Thankfully Blizz was thoughtful enough to install teleporters in Ulduar.

Next on the scales of learning…phase 2. We clumped, we spread out, we clumped, we spread out, we moved in tight. Aso, no eggroll, prease pop Broodrust. Dark Glare, wtf is that?!?!? Move, move, move! So apparently he can machine gun a continuous stream of lead but can only turn about 120 degrees. OK, we got that figured out. Missiles?!? Yeah, that red stuff that showed up under your feet, it wasn’t the Rogue’s blood, that’s the missile about to impact, sidestep 5 yards please. 2 phases on pharm.

Phase 3 was probably the most troublesome, there are several things to deal with, a floating head, exploding bots, assaulting bots, and little junk bots I like to call Wall-E. Anyhow, once we figured out everyone’s role, we put butter on it. There’s kiting, there’s spell reflecting, there’s stunning, there’s traps, there’s two kinds of poison, there’s frosting, there’s the kitchen sink, there’s Dazing, there’s Tricks, you get the idea. Whatever you do, blame the Druid for rooting and consequently one-shotting the rogue while the snickering Shaman is the culprit. Slow down but don’t stop the A-Bots. Pick up the magnet thing and drop the head, done and done.

Lastly, there’s this little crescendo we like to call phase 4. kill all three bot parts within a few seconds of each other. I don’t know about you guys, but I was a tab targeting fool at the end, if Quest could use his mic, you would have heard crying like a little girl, what timing, oom with the final blow. Nice job all, very rewarding victory, and one that I believe we can now repeat with the learnings, I would say we have at least phase 2.8 phases on farm.
